Introduction

The second round of the Coast-R Network’s Small Grants Fund is open until 4pm on Friday 15 May 2026.

Coast-R are offering grants of between £10,000 and £25,000 for projects contributing to coastal community resilience.

The fund is designed to enable practical, locally driven initiatives that address the challenges facing coastal areas, including climate change impacts, flooding and erosion. It supports collaborative, innovative approaches that can deliver tangible benefits for communities, the environment and local economies.

Grants are available for a range of activities, such as:

  • Community-led resilience and adaptation projects
  • Research and data collection to inform local decision-making
  • Development of tools, resources, or pilot interventions
  • Partnership-building and stakeholder engagement

This is an opportunity for organisations, community groups, and partnerships to test new ideas, scale existing work and contribute to a more resilient future for coastal regions.
