This consultation is relevant to organisations involved in infrastructure, public services, and community resilience and may be of particular interest to the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector.

About the consultation
The Adaptation Reporting Power is a government initiative that helps assess how organisations are preparing for the impacts of climate change.
Through this consultation, Defra is seeking views on how the fifth round of reporting (ARP5) should be designed, including:
- Which organisations should be involved
- How reporting requirements could be improved
- Ways to strengthen the overall effectiveness of the process
Why its relevant
Climate change is already affecting communities and services across the UK. While not all VCSE organisations are required to report, this consultation provides an opportunity to:
- Highlight the role of community organisations in climate resilience
- Ensure local experiences and challenges are reflected
- Influence how adaptation planning is shaped nationally
