About

Porthcawl RNLI Lifeboat Station is a volunteer-led rescue service dedicated to saving lives along the coastline of South Wales. Operating from one of the busiest stretches of coast in the region, the station provides rapid response to emergencies at sea and along the shore, supporting sailors, swimmers, surfers and coastal visitors in distress.

Crewed by highly trained local volunteers and supported by a wider fundraising and shore-based team, the station plays a vital role in maritime safety and community resilience. Alongside rescue operations, Porthcawl RNLI is committed to water safety education and public awareness, helping people enjoy the coast safely while responding when lives are at risk.
