PhD Researcher
Zoe Lipkens is a final year PhD researcher at the University of Leicester. Zoe's research has explored the regional and local implementation of lowland peatland management policies in the Northwest of England through working with NGOs, farmers, landowners, researchers, and policymakers. Her research aims to improve our understanding of how these policies are working ‘on the ground’ and securing a sustainable future for England’s peatlands and the communities that live within them. Zoe has a MSc in Sustainable Development from KU Leuven, Belgium and a BSc in Earth Sciences from University College London.
