North Scotland Region manager
I lead a team of 37 forest managers managing 270 forests extending to 60,000ha throughout Scotland, including the UK's largest privately owned forest. I engage at a policy level with the Scottish Government and stakeholders to try to address climate change impacts and problems, often with mixed results. Climate change presents a chasm we have to cross and small, stuttering steps simply won't cut it. My role is to address this and to help protect and enhance Scotland's finite natural resources and heritage assets.
