Go! London Open Innovation Challenges
Go! London has launched its Open Innovation Challenges, inviting bold, collaborative ideas that use physical activity and sport to build stronger, more resilient communities for children and young people in London. These challenges aim to support new solutions that address systemic barriers, encourage community co‑design, and create lasting impact through prototyping, testing, and delivered outcomes.
Open Innovation Challenges bring new perspectives and collaborations to real-world issues, combining community insight with practical testing and scaling support. This approach mirrors the way innovation in urban resilience and adaptation can create lasting, positive change in communities.
Themes
There are two themes for 2026:
• Sport for Climate Action — projects that harness sport and physical activity for climate awareness, resilience, and engagement among young people.
• Reimagining Spaces for Sport and Play — ideas that increase access to safe, inclusive, and affordable spaces for sport and physical activity, especially for under‑served communities.

- Grants of up to £10,000, plus capacity‑building support.
- Grants of up to £100,000 for implementation, depending on impact potential and maturity.
