Building Connections for Collaborative Place-based Action in Scotland
Date and Time
Thu, 17 Jul 2025 16:00 – 17:30 BST
Online
Overview
Collaboration is essential for improving our places, helping ensure that actions are locally led, create positive change, and reduce the impacts of climate change for those that feel them hardest.
However, we know building effective collaborations between different types of groups and organisations can be challenging! This workshop aims to break through those challenges by creating space for new connections, and identifying current opportunities to secure funding for collaborative projects in Scotland, including the MACC Hub Flexible Fund.
We invite you to join us to share your own experiences and to learn from others working to build climate resilience within communities and organisations. The event welcomes all organisations and individuals – community groups, local businesses, and researchers but will have a focus on work in Scotland.
Aim
- Create connections among individuals and groups from a variety of sectors and places
- Share experiences, priorities, and areas of interest for collaboration
- Explore opportunities for collaboration as well as current project funding opportunities
